Although dogs may love them, stock cubes should not be consumed.

Generally, these cubes contain:

1. Flavorings
2. Colorants
3. Monosodium glutamate.

The first two do not really have any nutritional contribution, but if your dog has hypertension, digestive sensitivity, or skin problems, these ingredients can exacerbate the problem.

And the third, monosodium glutamate, has the function of enhancing the flavor of food, but has been shown in animals and humans to be associated with obesity, diabetes, hepatotoxicity, neurotoxic and genotoxic effects.
